Phi Delta Epsilon, is the nation's only professional Pre-Medical Fraternity.
MISSION STATEMENT
To foster and achieve bonding among physicians of high moral character devoted to education and philanthropy for a lifetime.

Precepts:

* To promote fellowship and mentoring, equality, and unity.
* To promote the highest scientific and educational standards in the field of medicine.
* To promote the highest standards of ethics in the practice of medicine, medical teaching, and research.
* To promote nonprofit group service to the community.
* To promote discussions at all Fraternity levels of current social and economic issues as related to the practice of medicine.

Although Hofstra is in its primary stages of beginning a sucessful chapter, we would like to display any information nessary for those looking to rush PhiDE or for those who would like to find out more about this fraternity

"Facta Non Verba...Deeds Not Words"

The seal of the Fraternity consists of the scales of justice (which it is hoped you will ever keep at an even balance) with the letters Phi, Delta and Epsilon on the sides and at the bottom. The scale is balanced upon a caduceus with a Delta as its base. Above the scale are the spread wings of the Phoenix, a bird which is said never to die, signifying an everlasting life for our Fraternity. The letter Alpha appears beside the left wing and the letter Sigma beside the right. Above the center of the wings is a star containing the letter Phi. These letters, Alpha, Phi and Sigma represent our amalgamation with Alpha Phi Sigma Fraternity in 1918.
